Freak of Nature
A debut live show of London-based Italian composer Yraki with live performance by Estonian choreographer Keity Pook. From sounds inspired by artists' synesthesia and surrendering to an 'other', the experimental composer explores sonic hybrids recalling electronic abstractions and contemporary club music mutations. Both musician and choreographer exploring the kinetic capabilities of this mystical entity and the choreography also embodies ancient amphibian times' nordic soul beast creature.

pineval pinnal // pindpinevus ((koreograafi diplomi lavastus)) Toimub kahe veetilga kohtumine. Veetilkade molekulide vahel tekivad molekulide omavahelisest tõmbejõust tugevad sidemed. Olemine. Veetilga molekulid seovad ennast vesiniksidemete abil lähimate naabermolekulidega, moodustades tetraeedrilise struktuuri. Vee ja õhu piirpinnal jääb see struktuur tasakaalustamata. Paariliseta jäänud sideme pooled moodustavad pindkile. Pindkile püüab kokku tõmbuda ja omandada nii väikese pindala kui võimalik.See nähtus on pindpinevus. Teisiti öeldes pindpinevus on molekulaartungidest tingitud elastne vedelikupinna pingul olek, mille tõttu see pind püüab suuruselt minimaalseks muutuda. Purunemine. Märgumine. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tegemist on visuaalse tantsulavastusega. Florence Peake: MAKE
MAKE takes an irreverent look at how sculpture is created, displayed and maintained. A task force of ten women build and then dismantle a monolithic structure through a series of choreographed tasks; ritualising, parodying and unveiling the often hidden labour of art-making. Through playful acts of absurd endeavour, MAKE deconstructs the traditional reverence towards and god-like status of the artist as author. MAKE by Florence Peake was co-produced by Artsadmin and Dance Art Foundation in association with BALTIC and funded by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. MAKE was developed with support from Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Live Art Development Agency's DIY scheme, APT Deptford, Newlyn Exchange and Chisenhale Dance Space. Florence Peake is an Artsadmin Associate Artist 2013-14.
